Amazing socks for breaking in boots!

"I know these are meant for ski boots, but I got them to break in new PNW custom boots from Whites and Nicks and some Grant Stone pairs which are hellatious to break in. My normal nylon compression socks werent gonna cut it. I love Darn Tough socks as they are the best socks ever. They don't do compression socks though. The owner of DT recommended CEP. I wanted something with full cushion and padding with merino wool. Settled on Ski Merino Tall after seeing the Hiker merino were out of stock. These are amazing socks. The top band fits just right. No tourniquet effect here folks. It is proper medical grade 20-30mmhg thanks to Medi. My only complaint is the price. I can buy Sigvaris Thermoregulating wool 422s for only 7 to 10 more. Sigvaris is a heavyweight in the compression sock field just like Medi. The Sigvaris are 67% merino wool which is astounding. If CEP Ski Merino Tall were $35 to $40, Id have bought 12 pairs and called it a day."
