The liner of these shorts

"The liner of these shorts has to be the most awful experience I’ve had of any short. Chaffing is relentless. I will say… with tons of anti chafe salve of choice, the shorts can be tolerable. I do enjoy the leg pocket, but sadly that’s the only part of this short I feel do dearly about. Really wanted to enjoy these more."

Different from a previous pair

"Loved a pair of similar shorts from CEP and I ordered 2 more pairs. Unfortunately I didn’t notice that these were different. Liner is definitely not to be worn without anti chaffing stick on any runs over 3 miles. Out liner feels cheap and the front pocket was not sown at all. I hate to admit it but I just sowed it back together since I sowed on an elastic pocket onto one of the tights. Probably should have sent them back but bottom line they are just shorts and I do like the tights/shorts combination. Fit was fine and about what you expect from a European company."

"Similar to military PT shorts, its outer shell is water resisitant. However, features quickly decline after that; few pockets, and while the compression aspect is nice, the placement of the phone pocket is so low that you won't be able use any sort of knee brace. Not a *bad* short, but offerings from Brooks far outclass it."
